We know home staging is one of the most important parts of getting a home ready to sell. It’s also our favorite part! At Design2Sell, we work with our clients to create beautifully designed interiors for potential home buyers to see when they tour a home. A well-decorated home can make all the difference when it helps a buyer envision a future in their new dream home. One of our most recent projects featured a smaller, simple home that we made over in the best, modern way!
Using smaller spaces is always a challenge, but we love testing ourselves! In the master bedroom, we took a quaint, white room with dark hardwood floors and turned it into a beautiful, eccentric retreat. The centerpiece of the room is a bed with a white comforter and pillows and a neutral headboard. Above the bed, high on the wall are two gold paintings featuring a unique pattern. These paintings tie in the gold light fixtures in the bedroom. Immediately to the sides and below the painting are two simple nightstands. The lamps on top of the stands are white, drawing a contrast from the deep, dark wood they rest on. Adding in a few accents for a finishing touch, we placed a blue and white rug with a geometric pattern below the bed, a single dark colored pillow and a unique faux-fur throw blanket across the bed.
At Design2Sell, we focus on the details. Even the smallest accent can add to the overall look and feel of a room. For example, this tabletop centerpiece we created adds a pop of color in an otherwise neutral room. The décor features a wooden holder with three different sized vases. Each vase boasts a different design but are tied together through the gold and white colors they hold. The final touch is in a bright orange flower place in one of the vases. Beautifully contrasted against the navy and orange featured in other parts of the room, this simple touch is effective!
